Sun at Easter - need a good resort for 6 & 4 yr old

I think I might be able to get cheap flights through a friend, can anyone suggest a good resort or hotel, somewhere that will be warm in early April? Single mummy desperate for a week of sunshine that doesn't cost the earth with my two children.
Any ideas?

playa blanca on lanzarote is nice for kids... small and quiet resort with a man-made sandy beach. It'll be very nice and warm then, we went in January and it was 21C on average.

we stayed in a hotel, can't remember what it was called. I can remember the self-catering/hotel place we were in first though as it was overrun with cockroaches - the Bahia Blanca Rock (just don't go to that one!).
There are plenty of nice hotels/aparthotels in that area. Make sure you read online reviews of them though.

Playa Blanca is perfect for a family holiday. Go for a private villa with a heated pool, a family of 4 could rent one for as little as 450 pounds per week. Lots of villas already have cots, highchairs and so on
