Beach wear for 14 mo in the UK?

We will be heading to the Kent coast in a few weeks, it's not exactly warm at the moment...if we go to the beach what should I put 14mo DD in to keep warm?
She might not actually go in the sea but just want her to keep toasty on the sand while she eats it Wink

Warm clothes, and wellies.Grin

Grin do you mean just normal clothes then? Not 'beach wear'? I have a thin UV suit thingy that she wore on a hot beach earlier this year but that wouldn't keep her warm enough.
I just hate the idea of sand getting into every nook and cranny. Unavoidable on a beach though I reckon Wink

A one-piece waterproof is invaluable.

And if she is at all likely to go into the water: a baby wetsuit

Oooohhh I like the Togz, thanks! Perfic Smile

I have found the wetsuits with short arms and legs great as they always seem to get wet even if we are not planning to get in the sea. Something like this www.swimbabes.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=65_74&products_id=851&zenid=a510682c1225ff51d4881c27413c72c7
