Lanzarote December with 6 month old

Hi, have never been to any of the Canary Islands and we fancy some winter sun, missed out on a proper holiday as DD was born in May. Looking at booking a week early December, does any one have any suggestions or experience. Will the pools be heated? At present is looks like we might stay at ClubHotel Riu Paraiso Lanzarote it looks like a good value AI deal with sensible flight times.
Any advice gratefully received. Thanks

With such a tiny baby I'd say it's a good time of year to go. Beware though that even if they say the pool is "heated" it wouldn't be warm enough for me, and the sea is freezing IMO even in summer.
Expect warm but not scorching sunny weather and dark , cool evenings.
