Anybody going to Lapland this winter?

We are thinking of going for a few days in December. Rang First Choice to get some advice and the sales person was about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Grin Said she would find out more info and ring me back. She never did.

I have the brochure but just wanted to pick the hotel/package which was the best for a family.

Anyone? TIA

We've booked to go Grin cannot wait. Did loads of research, Esprit- Santas Lapland, came out well so that's who we booked with. 2 nights/3 days.

Went 4 years ago with Canterbury Travel- it was fab. A tip - stay as many nights as your budget will allow.

It is more cost effective to book a weeks holiday and go and see santa yourself (if you plan on doing that). Neilsons and other ski companies do week long trips (you can just book accomodation, you don't need to ski), either in hotels or chalets and much much cheaper than the santa-trips....

40nt When are you going? We have booked with Esprit too but are a little concerned as the reviews on Trip Advisor are mixed. Which hotel are you staying at?
