Thinking of taking DS1 (4) and DS2 (2 and a half) to diggerland in Kent tommorow.

Its an hour drive to get there, will my boys enjoy it enough to make it worth our while???

A 4yo girl I know had a great time riding on the trucks but found some limitations in what she was allowed to go on. Parents found it expensive with hidden extras if I remember rightly. Havent been myself so cant speak from personal experience.

we took the Ds's last year some time and they had a FAB time.

It p*ed with rain all day and was freezing cold but they really loved it.

The cafe area is rather grotty though.

6,4 and 2 now
So probably 5 and 3 at the most, I remember Ds3 was a baby at the time.
The diggers are all different sizes, Dh would have to operate them with the Dsses as they couldn't reach the peddles. They loved it, Dh included.

Forgot to say earlier, if it's been raining then wear wellies. It's soooo muddy.

(which is another thing they loved)

Diggerland is great for kids..(gave me a headache though as music was blaring- as though it were geared for a stag party!!!)
We went in Summer - so it maybe a bit bleak at this time - although I think they may have a dry ski slope or similar there, and I'm sure it is festive!

I suggest going to Rochester too...
not far and very Christmassy, and will make you feel the journey is worthwhile for you - as well as them.

Is it any good for a 2.4 yo?

Can I get there without a car (but with 2 kids and a husband?)

Where's the review?
