caribbean- interconnecting rooms?

Does anybody know of any good hotels in any caribbean place that have interconnection rooms? The children are 7,8 and 10. I am finding it very difficult to locate any, and dont feel comfortable with just adjoining rooms.
Failing that large family rooms for 5 would do...
Everything seems to cater for families of 4!!!!.....

Barcelo Bavaro in Punta cana, DOmenican Republic. We had seven beds !!!!(just for the three of us) in our room, divided in two separated rooms.
The resort has 5 hotels in one - we were in the Barcelo bavaro Golf, with 12 restaurants (one open 24h - so if you are wide awake at 3 am and fancy a pizza.....), a small train going around the resort, .... very nice. Lovely beach, blue water, ....

I have been to the resort and had connecting rooms but can't remember if it was that hotel. It looks familiar!
