Holiday off due to a holiday company, with 6 days notice

Rang today saying overbooked. Took our money, issued tickets. Now say other huge hotel in the middle of ? . What do we do?
Due to fly out 31 Aug.

speak with trading standards or abta and work out your rights. tell company you don't mind swapping as long as its better and give them some options from the brochure.

flight company cancelled my friday flight, offered my a tuesday one which i said was no good. i told them i'd accept the sat one as long as the price was the same and they agreed (despite it being published as several £100 more).

We wanted a small hotel in the town. The hotel we chose overlooked the sea,there is only one other hotel in this place. They are trying to fob us off with some huge 276 room marina/spa/casino place. No. Then this company wouldn't even give us the £40 compensation.

Hotel offered wasn't in the L&M brochure. Some crap place in the middle of nowhere.
