Desperately need advice on hols. Just back to work full time and need something to look forward to. In November, our children will be just 3 and 8 months.

Any top tips for a week or less break? Pretty open minded - either in the UK or some winter sun (without going long haul). MAx budget is £1-2k.

People have mentioned Calcott Manor - but I think our budget would stretch to only 3 days there.

Thanks Ladies.

We went to Morocco in November a couple of years ago - it was lovely and warm (but not too hot) and can be done very reasonably - RyanAir fly to Marrakech and then a Riad can be found for under £100/night or you can find a hotel in the New Town with pool etc for not too much money. It's a nice balance of doing stuff (mainly shopping in the souk) and lazing around doing nothing.

Cyprus is lovely in November still warm in the day but cooler at nights good web site www.kiddykithire.com for hiring baby equipment and www.probevillas.com has great holiday accomodation. We found a villa holiday a lot easier with children.
