Restaurants near houses of parliament?

can anyone recommend something decent but kid friendly nearby?

There is a Pizza Express down Victoria Street (half way to the station), and a variety of chain restaurants just over the river on the street behind the London Eye and Aquarium.

Sorry I can't be more helpful about exactly what is behind the Eye - iirc there is a Yo Sushi, a Wagamama, Starbucks and others........but it has been a while.

And, if it helps, there is a fairly large playground just in front of the London Eye....
