CROATIA- recommendations please

Can anyone recommend a nice quiet place near sea in Croatia ?I am trying to book somewhere for 2 weeks time!
Has anyone been this summer?

We got back yesterday from a 10 day stay in Croatia, it was fantastic. The people were v friendly and helpful, the weather was perfect, eating out was good value and the food was great, and best of all the sea is crystal clear.

We had two nights in Dubrovnik (beautiful but v busy) followed by a week flotilla sailing around the Islands. If you really want a quiet holiday I suggest staying on one of the Islands which are a short ferry journey from Dubrovnik. Have a look at Mljet, Korcula, or Sipan. There are very few cars, lots of places to hire bikes or boats, great snorkelling and diving.
I can't help with accommodation, but I'm sure you could find something at short notice. Hope this helps, we will be returning next summer.
