We are going to Australia in a couple of weeks and I have to so some flights alone with DD (will be 8m) when DH working. Was about to buy The two of us (girls) a double deck trolley/wheely bag (eurgh, but my existing bags too small and cheapy sports bags or rucksack so would be chaos w double packing)... However suddenly worried about pushing buggy and bag... What luggage do MNers recommend? I want two main compartments if at all possible. Thanks.

I think your idea of a double decker/skiing type bag is good. I travel a lot with dd 8months. Buggy goes in a travel bag with wheels,dd in the sling and pull the other bag along. Luggage trolleys are the answer. Make sure you have some Aussie coins,I'm sure we had to pay on both arrival and departure for trolleys. Good luck
