services M25/M3/ A303

anyone help?

usually travel to SW via M25, M4 then M5 but bling map is now suggesting M25 ( come onto it from A1M at South Mimms), M3 then A303.

How soon are there services on M3 after coming off M25, and how is the A303 for services?

Fleet services are at J4a on the M3.

Yes, first ones down the M3!

Then I think the next ones are the Winchester ones, but IIRC you have already turned off on the A303 by then.

Very nice choice of restaurants at Solstace service area, Pizza Hut, KFC and Harvester.
On way back (to Sussex) we (stupidly) didn't stop there and stopped at a small service station just before M25 and it was awful. Had a small Costa inside shop/petrol station and I don't think I've ever seen a dirtier coffee shop and the toilets were disgusting and a 10 minute queue for them.

Had bad service at Popham Little Chef.
