THIS IS AN EMERGENACY!!!

my fiance and i have booked a wk away to greece, i needed a new passport and so did our son (14months) we applied for them on the 19july and were told by the post office 10 working days (we fly out 10th aug) we have been checking on ips website every few days to see what was happening and it turns out that it takes 3wks!!! this isnt what we got told grrrrr!!!!

has anyone else had this problem b4 and got the passports on time?

Mine took 2 weeks got them a week ago hth

If you did the check and post service at the post office it should arrive on time

Yes just call and ask, your passport is just a renewal and not a first adult passport isnt it?

Its not actually been 10 working days yet.

we phoned my passport is going through examination process just now. my sons will take longer as its a first passport.

You can get emergency passport. One of our friends dd got it in a day or two.you could ask for it. Sorry can't give any more information as they are on holiday.

yes mine is just a renewal. the guy i spoke to said the post office shouldnt be telling people that as it can take 3wks.

i asked if there was anything we could do. he just suggested an upgrade.

emergancy over! ips phoned today saying passports are ready to go and will be here by end of wk yipee!!!
