Bohemian holidays in France?

I mean chilled out beautiful vineyards/beaches/lakes, gorgeous old buildings and at a decent price! Anyone know anywhere?

We're just on our way home from a week here in the Charente. Set amongst the vinyards - we are very chilled. Though we did have 2 weeks at Vias Plage first. That is more like French Blackpool.
