I've just been to stay with friends near Chester and we took the children to a great soft play centre called LIVEWIRES in Rossett, half way between Chester and Wrexham at the Rossett Business Village, Llyndir Lane.
It is small, friendly and spotlessly clean. There is a completely separate area for babies, a space for the under 3s and very good food & drink - healthy sandwiches, salads and baked potatoes; good coffee and cold drinks.
They also run parent and toddler sessions for local parents, there was one going on while we were there and it looked very relaxed and happy.
