Ideas for annual subscriptions etc in greater Basingstoke area?

DH's brother is in the middle of a divorce and has his kids (12 and 8) quite often at weekends. Because he is currently sharing a rented house, they need to/want to go out a lot so do lots of swimming, nature parks etc. For Christmas, we thought about getting them an annual/season subscription to something or maybe even a bunch of vouchers for some place which they could use up as they wished. Does anyone have any great ideas of something like this in the greater Basingstoke area? This would be their main present so we are prepared to be fairly generous but are not stretching to, say, a season ticket for Chessington!

Marwell Zoo if they like zoos. Moors Valley country park - Ringwood - so maybe too far away - but a great day out. Seasons rent for beach hut at eg Bournemouth so they can make a day out at the beach. Intech - science/technology discovery centre at Winchester. Paultons Park near Romsey - not sure how good it is for older kids.

There's Wellington Country Park at Riseley - that's a great day out - think the passes are about £45 for the first person and £15 for each additional one.

There's also the Aquadrome (swimming pool) - not sure if they do annual passes - but you'll be able to check on their website - also the Ice rink - can't think what it's called though - might be Planet Ice.

Excellent idea by the way - I might copy you !

annh - if you use Tesco clubcard vouchers then an annual season ticket to Chessington and Thorpe Park is £20 of vouchers per person.

Finkley Down Farm is great and not too far from Basingstoke.

Legoland is also quite close and an off peak pass is about £39 each I think.

Thanks for all the brilliant suggestions. Am trying to do some surreptitious checking of sites at work but will probably choose something tonight. Wellington Country Park is sounding really good.
