Sharm el Sheikh at Easter

Hi,
Anyone been to Sharm during the school Easter holidays? If so, was it warm enough to swim in an outdoor pool or to snorkel in the sea? Thinking of going next year but unsure if it will be suitable at that time of year. DS is swimming pool obsessed when on holiday, if he can't swim there's just no point as far as he's concerned but, like his father, he's stick thin and gets very cold, very fast.
Would the water parks be open at that time of year and would it be warm enough to visit them?
Thanks in advance.

At easter it will be plenty warm enough - DD was in the pool and sea (albeit in short bursts) in December but she is only 3 and got cold quickly. Then the temps were 26/27 degrees so by easter they will well be in the 30's so plenty warm enough for sea and pool swimming.

Friends were there at Easter this year and it was into the 30's everyday. They said they wouldn't go any later into Summer because they could feel the difference in temp just over 7 days.

The sea is very warm all year round, water parksare open and useable all year round
in feb the Swimming pools are too cold unless heated - I have never been any later in the year so not sure when these warm up - in Jan & Feb the sea is far warmer than the pools!

We went to sharm over easter 2010, it was baking hot! DSs aged 5 and 6 were in the pool all the time and the sea was wonderful and warm - enjoy!
