We are trying to plan a bit of a European adventure in September with our DS who will be 9months. We are loading the car with the tent and off we go, but so far we have no real plans so we are open to any suggestions. The basic itinerary is that we are taking the Euro tunnel to Calais then have 5 days to meander down to Basel, Germany where we are staying the weekend with friends then 10 days before we have to be back in Amsterdam for the sail home.
Does anyone have any recommendations of places to go with a baby, any must stay campsites, don't miss destinations. We think the Italian lakes is as far south we can get in the time we have, without subjecting DS to too much driving.
