Midsummer House is a very fine dining restaurant, and very expensive. I've only eaten there twice and not seen kids, although I know a welathy friend who took his daughter there for a posh dinner. If you want good food at a slightly more relaxed vernue, try Alimentum instead. It seems more relaxed for kids, I've seen family parties in there.
