Taking DC's age 9 and 12 to the States

Specifically to Denali Park in Alaska, New York and Connecticut.

What do I need to know?

Visa sorted?
Money card instead of travellers cheques - CaxtonFX are very good
Decent camera?
Memory card for lots of photos!

Also depends when you are going, how (plane/RV) etc!

Money card? Is that like a pre-paid visa?

Memory card - that's a good idea I only have one, should get another maybe? Will be able to downloads photos when at friends in connecticut.
