Taking kids to music festivals?

We've been given VIP weekend passes to the Cornbury Festival - so excited! Our boys are 4 and 9 - we've never done anything like this before - any advice for surviving this sort of event? We live nearby, we're not camping. I just want to make sure we get the best out of the event.

Plenty of water is a must.

Clothing for all eventualities, (sun and rain)

Ear defenders/ plugs also a must

I hadn't thought about ear defenders (duh), I can't believe I didn't seeing as I'm hearing impaired myself and wear hearing aids anyway.

We're off shortly - weather forecast is pretty good and we're all mightily excited!
