Has anyone booked a day room in a hotel?

We will be between flights from about midday to 6pm and need a day room in a hotel. Has anyone ever done this? There's no info on booking this online at any websites? Is this possible? and is the rate cheaper than an oovernight stay? We wouldn't need ferrying anywhere.

we did something similar on route from Oz to the UK stopping over in LA, We still paid the full amount of the room as they still had to clean it afterwards.

Which airport ? Some have day rooms to hire in the airport which are cheaper, otherwise you need to call the hotel and ask

Hmm, no day rooms there, but worth seeing if you can do the £29 rate at the Premier Inn. Or for 6 hours, it might be better value to buy access to the lounge - £16 per adult, but includes drinks, snacks
