This has probably been asked loads before - so apologies but I did search honest!! We're going across to N Ireland later in the summer with DDs- flying easyjet. DD2 is only 21 months, so needs a proper car seat. Options a) take her own with us, is this even possible or will easy jet charge us a fortune? It'll be a bit of a hassle carrying it at either end. b) get one with the hire car - but will cost us £11 a day (!) Would be cheaper buying one or c) getting DB to meet us at airport and borrow one (which is a bit of a hassle for him) is there a d??? Which option would you go for.

As DP has just said - if anyone will know MN will...

We find it easier to take our seats with us. They do charge but it is not too bad. We had a couple a bad experiences with being given weird ones with no instructions by hire companies and so take the low hassle option now.

Buy you only have to take them from the car to the luggage place and vice versa. Airports helpfully have those nice big trolleys :)

LOL (sorry!) at take a trolley!!! DP seems to think that using a trolley would somehow make us all spontaneously combust! I'd forgotten they even had them! Might not be such a hassle to take ours - do you know how much eayjet charge?? Would it just be an additional piece of luggage?

last time we took at car seat was a couple of years ago & it was free, as is a buggy or pram.

Have checked and car seat would be carried free - thanks to all x
