Swansea Cork Ferry Need To Book Berths With Kids??

How feasible would it be to do this crossing with children (ages 0 to 10) without booking berths? Trying to do it on the cheap. The berths double the cost, making it about £600 as opposed to £300 for us! Any advice??

It's a long crossing. I'd want a berth if doing an overnight crossing. Would your kids be able to sleep in an open area?
I think when we went you had to book either a berth or sleeper seats. I'd definitely opt for a berth.
