Suggestions for 4-week trip in Jan w/15mnth yr old

My dp has a sabatical coming and we'd love to do something special but we're a bit low on ideas. Our ds will be 15mnths and I presume will still need a lunchtime sleep and will be going to bed around 7pm so we need to take that into consideration. We'd like somewhere hot if we go in January.

Any ideas?

We took ours to Australia for a month when they were 8 months and 26 months and it was fab - very child friendly, amazing places to see etc. Expensive though!
