Please help. Going to see a great aunty in dec and need to book a hotel with triple room that's ok ie quiet and doesnt mind kids. has anybody been anywhere like that near to gare du nord or around the ninth arrondissement somewhere? There seem to be a few postings on paris but all for romantic hotels!! (maybe in a few years time!!)Great aunty is a bit senile so no good asking her!

Would any of thes ones suit you, they have rooms with extra beds and kitchettes.

We stayed at the St Denis Pleyel one, I don't recomend it due to the location, not nice at night. I haven't stayed at any of the other ones but they are cheap and do the job. Some have pretty good locations like the Citea La Villette near the Cite science centre , the Citea Paris Tour Eiffel and the Citea Tilsitt - Champs Elysées.

Meant to add avoid the Citea ones with
Mezzanine if you have little ones very steep atairs in our one and too easy to climb up the railings upstairs.

i wouldn't stay near gare du nord, it's grim. public transport is excellent (metro not buggy friendly though) & paris is much smaller than london so you wouldn't have to be very close to your aunt to be accessible.

Thanks for your suggestions. Have now found somewhere near Opera, dh has booked it. Hope it's not too grim - meant to be 3star but we couldnt find any review. But anyway Im really excited now!!
