Alton Towers water park

Is it worth it? Looks good on the website but is it a whole day out or will we be bored after a few hours in the pools.

Very good and great on a hot day as it has an outside bit too. A lot like the sandcastle but better in some areas and you need to get there early to bag a chair or a table with a towel.

We took our dd (7) last year and she loved it. We went for the morning session. Can't remember the exact timings etc but we didn't get bored as there are plenty of slides/pools plus the outdoor area and water tower are great as well. It's top of her list of places she wants to go back to in the summer hols.
