Am so pissed of with the rain - would like to book somewhere for dh, me and ds aged 7 for a week.
I like the sun and pool - but am thinking Spain and the like would be v. hot in July?
Ideally no hotter than 30 degrees in the day.
Kids club for ds.
No more than 4 hour flight from UK
Any ideas?

One of the "windy" greek islands may be good for you: Lefkas, for example. You could also try Halkidiki which is a peninsula so almost like being on an island Wink. Afitos (Thessaloniki nearest airport - try BA for bargainous prices which blow EasyJet out the water), in particular, is lovely - very greek, has a preservation order on it so building carefully controlled. Parga, also on the mainland (nearest airport Preveza) is also good. Oh and Skiathos is fab - particularly Aghia Paraskevi which has a lovely cooling breeze off the sea at all times :).
