Thinking of going on holiday there (from Devon!) DCs are ages 3,4, and 5 can we keep them busy without spending loads of money?

we are looking down the gun of a really wet summer up here [unhelpful]

I did fear the weather might not be the best. What can we do up there though?

There's the museum in inverness - small but ds who is 4 loves it.

Loch ness exhibition is overpriced

Black isle wildlife park 5 mins from inverness

Highland wildlife park - kincraig - too far?

There are dolphin boat trips

Whin park in inverness

Furnicular railway up cairngorm - again too far?

Strathspey railway - aviemore (see above)

Landmark centre - ds LOVES this but there are height restrictions on rides, he is 4 but well over 110cm so was fine - this is at carrbridge

Sorry if this is all too far away.
