I was thinking it might be cheaper to book last minute i.e. less than 6 weeks before, rather than sticking to the normal brochure prices. Trying to plan ahead now as by the looks of the Thomson normal brochure prices self catering for 11 days for 2 adults and 2 children in Majorca is coming out at over 2 grand so I would need to start saving now for next year's holiday!!!!!!!

Would there be no choice of hotel or resort?? Would the best places be all booked up well before???
Would VERY last minute be a total risk?? i.e. week before?
