Can i take my 2 year old daughter on holiday to Spain without her fathers permission, I am her primary carer and we dont live together?

I want to get my daughter her first passport, do i need her father to sign any documets in order to get one for her? Or is my signiture enough?

Do you have a residence order? Does he have Parental Responsibility via her birth certificate?
