Just been quoted £12.50 per child. Seems a bit dear to me. DH has got a digital camera but hasn't got round to doing them so I thought I'd just book into a studio. Am I out of touch?

I did all ours in one of the automatic photo booths. Two babies aged abt 4 mnths, a three year old and a five year old. We only wasted one lot, worked out a lot cheaper.

Kelly, did you just hold the 4 month old up? - DS is 11 weeks.

I did my sons in the Kodak shop in town and it cost £4.50 for 4 pics.

did them in their car seats. Put them on a white blanket, put my hand under it to hold their head facing forward, and held the car seat up to the right level. Worked fine.

Thanks all - I'll give the photo booth a go. £25 does seem a bit excessive.
