does this quote sound reasonable to you?

2 adults 2 children and a baby. Unexpectedly got July 8-15th off (i.e before state school holidays). We would like togo to Lykia World Oludeniz, last minute job. It is Full Board plus (i.e not quite AI). Quote we are getting for a family room and fligts 7 nights is £3200.

This seems a bit steep to me (have been holidaying in UK since kids pretty much) but others assure me it is reasonable. What do you think? I know it is an expensive resort but DP wont do less than 4 star and we want somewhere with a water park and kids clubs.

That sounds really expensive to me! I know Lykia World is expensive bit £3,200 for a week is very expensive. Looking at Thomas Cook you can get flights for £880 for 2 adults, 2 children and 1 infant at the moment so that means you would be paying over £2,300 for accomodation for 1 week !!!

If you google for about 15 mins you should be able to price it up doing it independently. Where are you flying from?

Gatwick. Independent one I found room still 2300 where are you looking? Would rather 10 days or 2 weeks but can't find any availability.

I generally google the hotel name then do a number of searches, tbh if the room is £2300 then you would only have £900 for 4 flights plus infant at that time of year, so it may be that the quote you have isn't too bad.

thanks, got it down to 3k exactky with a bit of wrangling so, tbh, with kids clubs etc included I am reasonably happy with that now. Just hope it is good!
