Can anyone recommend a hotel/apartment that sleeps 6 and won't require me to sell a kidney?

Hi all, maybe someone can help me.
My OH has to take his holidays the first two weeks of August, and with the wonderful weather we are experiencing we want to go somewhere sunny. We have four kids though so normal hotel rooms don't fit us, so we need either a 2 bed apartment or a hotel with interconnecting rooms.

We have done eurocamp/ thomson al fresco in the past and as much as i enjoyed it I really want to go somewhere with maid service and (at least) breakfast. I'm fed up on being the cook/cleaner etc, and I want a holiday too.

Problem is I want five star service on a 1 star budget. We can get cheap flights to tenerife, malta or majorca.. But our budget for accomodation for the week is around £1000, will stretch to £1500 if its really nice.

Could anyone recommend anywhere to fit our requirements? Pretty please.
