Best area to stay in Berlin with an 8 month old

Oh, can I say that I am SO jealous. I spent five weeks last summer in Berlin with a 3 month old and a 2 year old. It was HEAVEN and I loved it and miss it badly.

Anyway, enough about me. We stayed in Mitte, which in my personal opinion was the best possible place - central, cool without being scuzzy and generally very family friendly. Prenzlauer Berg is the sort of posh family area a bit further north, lots of parks and squares and open air food markets.
