Edinburgh Accommodation

I am looking for some cheap accommodation in Edinburgh and wonder if anyone has any recommendations. The Travelodge seems to be reasonable but unfortunately fully booked for when I will be travelling. TIA

We stayed at a Premier Inn on the outskirts during Festival time and it was very good and cheap as we booked in advance. It was about £8 for a taxi into the centre.

Thanks for reply. Have been watching Premier Inn prices and they went up £35 since yesterday so will keep checking to see if they could possibly fall again as it seems a good option.
