Hotel in Bali recs please

DH, DD 5months and myself for a long weekend. Any suggestions on where we stay?

It depends on your budget and whether you want quiet luxury and pristine private beach or whether you want to be near the markets, bars and bustle of the towns.

Nusa Dua Resorts are quiet and have very high security. We stay at the Grand Hyatt, which we like. For more local colour try a hotel near Kuta, Ubud or Seminyak.

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt Nusa Dua too - I would recommend it, it is beautiful, fairly quiet and the staff were really friendly.

I rented a house in Ubud but I had a boss who stayed with his family at the Ritz-carlton a couple of times which they said was very nice.

I quite fancy the Four Seasons in Ubud if I ever get to go back.
