Any ideas for days out, (should the gorgeous beaches be full or rained off!) very much appreciated.

Why does wales not have a website like the wonderful EnjoyEngland?

Gypsy Wood near Caernarfon is fab, petting farm, garden railway, fairy woods etc. Great day out. There's always Ffestiniog and welsh highland railways (can you tell my ds likes trains a lot!)
Have fun

caenarfon castle is amazing
cadwalladrs (sp?) ice cream parlour in Criccieth is worth a special trip - get a light lunch there and then an enormous sundae.
there's a nice farm park on Anglesea if your dc are small.
