Does anyone know if trunki's are ok to take on board ryan air as hand luggage? The dimensions aren't exact and I know how particular they can be!

i think with ryanair it depends on which airport you're going from. we flew from east midlands and no-one from the airline checked any hand luggage, there were some huge bags going on board! but at other airports they are known for weighing everything, and there's a cage it has to fit into to check the size.

Thanks, its the cage thing that worries me, we are going from liverpool.

Flew with RA from Birmingham at Easter. Lots of children with trunkis getting on, no problems.

Trunki fits in the cage fine, flew from EMA with Ryanair at the weekend. No comments from Ryanair staff either :o

Trunki conform to official airline hand luggage dimensions. If RA get stroppy they are just being awkward.
