Wimpole Hall Farm - how much walking?

Would a 3yo struggle with the amount of walking involved (car park to farm and back again)?

We went without a pushchair a year ago and I vaguely recall dh having to carry him a lot but I'm a bit hazy on the details. Going soon on a school trip and I need to know whether or not to take a push chair - don't really want to and said 3yo has only been in it once in the past year iirc, but i'm not strong enough to carry him for great distances in my own.

It is further than you think from car park to farm - need to go from car park to the main ticket area and then quite a walk on to the farm. There are house and cart type rides you can get from the ticket area to the farm but at a small cost.

Is the school trip with other children his own age? I'd say that going he will be fine as it will be exciting but going back might be a bit more tiring.

Have fun :)

Thank you.

Yes, the children are his age or a year or two older. Hadn't even thought of taking a push chair until one of the other mothers said she was going to. Might run the risk without it.

My 3 year old who hates walking can walk easily from the car park to the farm - it takes about 15 minutes. We do it often
