My sis, bros in law & 13yr niece are coming over from USA - planning on staying in Bath. We will be joining them. Can anyone recommend things to do that will keep a 13yr, 7yr & 4yr girls entertained? Thanks

I'd recommend the Costume Museum although it might be stretching the 4 year old...

The Baths have tours on the head sets that are suitable for various different ages. Oh and the shopping lots of lovely independent stores. Coffee in the pump room tea rooms.

Bath is lovely, and very compact. Will you be going out of Bath? For example,at-Bristol is really good for all ages.

Obviously you also have Stonehenge and Avebury nearby, and Stourhead Gardens (National Trust) are lovely. Bowood House has a fantastic adventure playground, and Longleat House is another good trip. But these rely on you having a car to access them easily.

The open top bus tours are very good.

No. 1 Royal Crescent is very interesting.

Victoria Park is definitely worth a visit - lots of green space, a botanical gardens and a huge playground with stuff for kids of all ages.

The Roman Baths are good (though pricey) - I took DS round when he was one and even he was entertained.

There are a few National Trust places nearby, and it could be worth heading out to Lacock ? a lot of period TV stuff gets filmed there, as well as some of Harry Potter!
