Reusable swim nappy?

We are off to Menorca for a week next month. Hotel with pool, near beach so need to decide if we get swim nappies for DS2 when we get there or take them (on offer at Boots at mo) or go for a resuable/wshable. DS2 is 2.9 and shows no interest in potty training but his bowels move at roughly the same time each day! Not worried about weeing in the water/sea as all kids must do this and unlikely he will poo but just want to be safe than sorry and to appease any other pool users. If we are in the pool in the morning and at the beach in the afternoon a reusable could dry out over lunch and then over night. If he turns out to be a water-baby I could get through a lot of disposables. Any ideas/ recommendations please? He is rather large at 16.4kg. Thanks

oh do not use disposables in the water! they disintegrate! def get a swim nappy and my advice is get from ebay

John Lewis do swim nappies - lycra material on the outside in nice colours/plastic inner/terry-towelling on the inside, so nice and comfy for the little ones. We have used them over the years (different sizes!) for DS and now DD.

Boots sell reusables too I think.

We used disposable then swim shorts over the top. Providing he doesn't poo in them the can dry out and be used again the next day? We used to to take 4 or 5.

The reasoning behind double shorts is that if he does poo whilst in the water it will go EVERYWHERE so best to have 2 layers.

I take both.

Disposables for the beach and waterpark, reusables (x2 of) for the pool.
