European Health cards

I've just discovered that our European Health cards expired last year! Do we get new ones or can we get these renewed? Does the post office have forms? TIA.

You can apply for renewal online. Ours came really quickly.

Do it online, ours came within a few days!

Bizzarrely you have to pay if you do it online! But if you get the phone number off the website and phone its free! Mine came within a few days

Thank you for this thread, I checked mine and discovered they were running out! I have used the link provided by LIZS and was not asked for money.

You do not pay for the card online .... That must be a scam site.

Did ours yesterday online, same site as LIZS linked to, totally free.

Oh no, I used a paying site - is it a scam? Do they now have all of our information?

it may or may not be a scam in the sense of trying to get your details - what is more likely is that it is a scam in the sense of getting money from you for something you can get for free. They probably just link straight into the Gov site so you get your cards, but they get the £10 (or whatever you have paid) per card.
Bloody disgrace.

Do it on the NHS website, totally free and you know the site is a legal/scam-free one. Some of the others charge a tenner!! Got DD's (new baby) card there, came a few days later. Easy-peasy!
