CenterParcs - Are the Parcmarket products value for money?

That's it really. As opposed to doing a supermarket shop on the way in. I'm planning on bringing some basics like tea, but would rather not do a supermarket shop if the on site one is good/reasonable value. (I'm relatively broke, so the convenience factor is only half the issue.)

TIA

I found it like spar prices rather than asda-it had everything, but it was expensive.

onepieceofcremeegg · 07/05/2011 21:13

It's not as cheap as the main supermarkets. More in line with prices say at a Nisa or Spar.

It is possible to get offers. Like all shops they tend to have certain items on special offer. (which suits us as we will buy what is on offer rather than particular brands)

Oh and if you take your young dcs in it works out massively expensive by the time they have been to the bakery and various other sections. Grin

ditto. you're a captive market hence the high prices. great though if you have forgotten something, but other than basics like milk and bread. I would take stuff from home or go to the nearest big supermarket just before going to cp. stock up on the goodies especially!

NorthernGobshite · 09/05/2011 20:28

No, super expensive. Get a supermarket shop in and take it with you.

Hulababy · 09/05/2011 20:29

I didn't find them (Whinfell, Sherwood Forest) any different to using your local shops.

Not as cheap as a supermarket store, but imo/ime, no dearer than a corner shop or local smaller shop.

itsabiggywhatdoidonow · 09/05/2011 20:30

its expensive, but did very good reduced bin items so worth a look.

TheVisitor · 09/05/2011 20:32

Not massively expensive but far better to stock up beforehand.
