We're off there soon and wondered if anyone had any tips/suggestions. Would like to explore bits of the mainland this time too. TIA.

Not this year, we went last year and loved it.

Any resturant/beach/trip recommendations, Knotty?

We didn't do any trips as such as the DCs were quite young and it was bloody hot! However, we often drove into Lefkas town in the early evenings: loads of decent restaurants and pedestrianised in the evening, a bonus with our two.

Will you be using the kids' club at all? Last year they did a pyjama party one evening a week which everyone on site booked their children into allowing us all to have an evening childfree. The other nice thing was the barbeque that Mousses ran - seemed expensive until you saw the mountain of delicious food. A very social and enjoyable occasion.

I'll try to remember some of the restaurants in town and get back to you. Another nice early evening spot was the beach bar down the road. The food was good although not as cheap as elsewhere but it was a very chilled out place where you could sit watching the world go by in the evening sun.

Just remembered that each villa had a guests' book that previous visitors had written in, complete with restaurant and beach recommendations.

Thanks - we are hoping to put boys in for 5 morning sessions over the two weeks we are there. Like the idea of an evening option!

We're going in three weeks' time. It's our first visit. I'm so excited.

Not at all excited about the 3+ hour flight with DS sharing our laps though.

Will report back, Quenelle!

Have a great time Grin

Back, having had a lovely time. No flight delays and boys v happy. Quite surprised at mix of clientele, lots of older couples. As a result, the kids' club was pretty much empty. One family had booked their little boy in for 5 full days but he was the ONLY ONE! Didn't use the 'pyjama party' as, at 11 euro per head, it seemed a v expensive night out! BBQ great.
