We're going to miss our connection tonight..

All flights from MAN seem to be running approx 15 mins - 1hr late. We have an hour to change at CDG for South Africa so we're buggered basically unless by some kind of miracle the plane makes it in time.

We've got travel insurance that'll pay us up to £300 for a missed connection that's not our fault, so that's OK. I don't mind spending a night in Paris (they only fly once to Johannesburg from CDG, at 23.20).

We're flying Air France on both flights so, what is likely to happen? Will they just stick us in a hotel for the night? I'm not sleeping in the airport thank you very much

As there's only one flight, and you're not hugely delayed, they might possibly hold the flight for you. They did for us (also connecting at CDG) when flying Heathrow to Bamako, but we were a big group, so don't want to give you false hope!

I imagine though that it's something you'll have to sort out when you get to Paris, and there'll be a scrum at information, sorry. Good luck!
