Our dd is 13, so may not be the same for you...we like a pool for dd, other English speaking kids, as she is an only, not necessarily entertainment, as we tend to go to bed early, reasonable food. About it really!

spare pillows is a must as hotels are notoriously tight with pillows. You will need them!
Low floor (fire safety) Lockable door on balcony or patio doors. Check where the room is on checkin, you dont want to be right next to the lift, maids storage room, icemachine or machinery room. You want peace and quiet not constant movement outside your door!
Have a lovely holiday!!

Quiet location, low floor (if young DC's)

Quiet location, no kids clubs or entertainment, nice view if possible, pool, near nice restaurants (we avoid half board in case the food is rubbish). Fridge in room, air con if very hot.
