Meant to be going in 3 weeks but now not so sure after the suicide bomb today.

Feel so sorry for those people killed and injured.

If you were me what would you do? Just want other's perspective?

We were there last October and I never relaxed once. I have travelled to many countries and never have I felt so uneasy. We had lunch on our first day in Marrakech in the cafe that was bombed. I will trust my gut feeling more in the future.

Follow the Foreign Office advice.

We ate in that cafe too.

We just came back from Egypt - absolutely no problems in Cairo or Luxor.

I have been trying to get my dp to go to marrakech for years as my friend has a lovely house there This has made my task impossible he has ruled it out 100% and doesn't even want me to go!

Thanks ladies. I'm half and half tbh - partly thinking don't let the bastards stop me but also thinking what if they have another go?

Update - if anyone was wondering - we're not going. Feel relieved tbh, waiting to see if we can get a refund on our riad.

I Think that it is safe to visit Marrakech because the Foreign Office advice is postive regarding visitting Marrakech and Morocco. And unforntunatly these terrorsit attacks can happen everywhere nowadays.

I booked a trip to Marrakech in June again via www.myresidencemarrakech.com and I am not planning on changing my trip because that is what these terrorists want..

Would you avoid Manchester, and london too?
