Bluebells are incredible this week!

hello everyone, I took my little ones to a local bluebell wood this weekend and they loved it, so pretty and lots of fresh air and flowers and butterflies. www.visitwoods.org.uk to find your nearest bluebell wood, they have over 850 on there right across the UK!

Bluebells in the south west and south east came two weeks early this year so you they may well be past their best now...but still to reach a peak in the North and Scotland...

think bluebells are still looking good around london, shame the weather's going to be shite next weekend-that was my plan to avoid the royal wedding, go and frolic in some bluebells...

We went to the local bluebell wood over the weekend - it's about a week since the the flowers began to open, so they should have been at their peak.

They were a sad disappointment. The leaves had all wilted, and many of the flowers. Those that were still alive were faded and scentless. I think the drought may have done for them.
