Does anyone know what tog rating I should use for a baby on a plane. Flying London to sydney with a brief break at singapore.
I've got a 1 tog and a 2.5tog or do i need something inbetween?
thanks

lol thougth you meant the plant growing type !. I'd go for the lighteer one and take a light blanket to layer if needs be.

We used a 1 tog as we could then add blankets if it got too chilly but you can't take layers off a 2.5tog if it is hot on the plane.

thanks that sounds like a good plan taking blankets also.
i fear i'm going to end up with more stuff in my hand luggage then in the hold.

1-tog is fine. The place will have blankets if you need extra warmth. Another must have imo is a baby sling or carrier, it makes getting on and off the plane and standing in line at immigration much easier and your hands are free to carry bags. coats, etc.

Oh goody I am doing the reverse trip and was wondering the same thing - the 1 tog it is then!
